Steinhart Aquarium mural from Murano

This glass mural originally hung in the San Francisco Steinhart Aquarium Entrance, but now it is hung in the aquarium's kitchen hallway, in the bowels of the "backstage" area. I took the photo on my VIP tour 
summer. the card reads: VENETIAN TILE MURAL, Guillermo W. Granizo (1923-1997)
        
I really like this one. 
The colors of the glass tiles give it a deep transparency.
Nice flow and movement.

reindeer totem

returning, image-wise, to my native saami (northern-artic Finnish) roots here.
The white forked piece is a fall-off from reindeer antler shedding.
reindeer Antler is considered to be strong energy.
I have returned there often in dreams.

Kathy and I are celebrating 40 years of marriage today.
Glad we made it;who'da thunk?

this spiky pod-like thing is pretty cool.
when its green the spikes are soft and flexi.
when its not; its not.

how profound is the jellyfish?
they don't appear all that tidy,
in fact, they seem to be huge slobs.
admittingly, I don't know any personally.

dog herding dog chasing frisbee ...

the Ro-ri brothers, two of a kind.
Riley is the champion frisbee guy.
Rowan herds Riley and tries to prevent the "catch",
with very little success, but a lot of distraction.....
Here they both get a lot of exercise, 
I think it is the funnest time Rowan has ever had.

when whales dream ...

when I dream, I really go off ... somewhere.

I'm always hard at work, the big events are coming.... lots of preparation to do.


I've not traveled underwater, ... yet.
makes me wonder if whales dream of traveling on land.
